Sandwich Generation

 Adulting is not easy. Like, at all. No one said bills would be back around before the blink of an eye. No one said we'd be tired ALL. THE. TIME. No one said I would have to rely on a calendar to keep track of my next meet-up with my closest friends. I should've stayed in a child's place. I digress.

I have journeyed into Motherhood and it has been a wild ride! While still taking care of my dad and now adding children to the mix, this really is not easy. I work full-time and manage everyone's needs and wants. I have to give each of them time and attention and I get what's left over. I'm still managing my nonprofit and small businesses. Can someone say overjoyed? Like, this is my life and I love every minute of it. I've found solid footing and I can really do this. My support system is beyond AMAZING!

I have had a goal of being a screenwriter and/or showrunner for a long time. I'm working to begin filming episodes to enhance my dad's seasoning brand. There's so much to do and I'm always busy however this is what I prayed for!

To all the parents out there - single moms, single dads, widowed parents, divorced parents, step parents, married parents, and heavily involved aunties and uncles - WE GOT THIS! It's not easy but it's worth it. The smile on my children and dad's faces when I get to spoil them takes away all of the anxiety surrounding this grind. I wouldn't trade this for the world.
