Catching Up.

 I am a soon-to-be doctoral candidate! Time has flown by since I started my DSW program last summer. This is a dream come true. As a young girl, I've always wanted to be recognized as Dr. Broughton. Next May, that reality will be accomplished.

To my mama, who instilled a love of learning; made me read the dictionary and encyclopedia; taught me Latin; expected nothing less than straight As; affirmed that I would attend college, thank you. To my daddy, who always holds me in high regard, thank you.

I finally found my niche - economic justice. I've discussed the need for reparations and the aftermath of social and political barriers to preventing Black Americans from obtaining wealth that I'm an expert?
